The Thayer-Mammoth Spring Communities has lost a valued community leader and friend. Steve Russell passed away Monday. Steve was Vice President/Community Bank manager at Southern bank in Thayer and served the communities in many ways including being a member of the Mammoth Spring School Board and serving terms as president of both the Thayer/Mammoth Spring Rotary and the Mammoth Spring Chamber of Commerce. Steve will be deeply missed by many.
